We, Glen and Nicky, started www.balloonace.com because we struggled to get affordable unique and high quality balloons from any stores based in the UK. Each time we wanted to buy these balloons our only option was to use specialist balloon stores based in Europe or the USA. Whilst these stores are great, shipping to the UK can be slow and expensive.
At the start of 2019 we decided that we wanted to try and make unique and high quality balloons more accessible and affordable to everyone (especially for people in the UK). Our desire to make unique and high quality balloons more accessible to people eventually grew into an idea to open a 'specialist' balloon store.
Our goal is to be the leading, UK based, online balloon store selling unusual and high quality balloons at an affordable price to all of our customers (whether you are in the UK or overseas).
At present we ship to the UK, Europe, North America and Australasia. Due to Covid19 our shipping locations are reviewed regularly as we want to make sure that our customers receive the best service possible.
We endeavor to provide next day delivery for our UK customers.
FAQ's about your business.
Our most asked question is whether we can ship to specific locations. We have selected our shipping locations based on our experience with our mailing service, the quality of service provided in each location and the costs willing to be paid our customers. In theory we could ship to anywhere in the world. However, we do not ship to all locations as we want to offer a fast, reliable and affordable delivery service. We appreciate that this means that customers in some locations will not be able to order from us but our customers deserve the best possible service from us.

As we have only been in business for a year providing a list of best selling balloons is difficult as we are still establishing a product line which best suits customer trends. We cover the main brands at present like Belbal, Cattex, Qualatex and Tuf-tex balloons. Our customers all have different balloon requirements. At present all of our balloons sell very similarly. However, the preferred size range with our customers is between 14 and 17 inches for round balloons.

FAQ:Which countries are you shipping to?
We ship all over the world - there might be some countries that might be a bit harder to ship to than others, and if the shop does not provide you with a price during checkout, contact us and we'll figure it out :)
How fast do you deliver?
Mostly depends on where you live. But a general rule of thumb is 3-5 business days for European countries and approximately 14 business days for everywhere else. UPS Express is available for select locations too though. We provide tracking on all shipments. As we are running this business as our hobby, keep in mind that we do not pack and ship every day.
Is your packaging discrete and anonymous?
We'd like to think so. We never write "Nordic Looners" as the shipment address - instead it will write NBE Denmark ApS. We primarily use non-see through webshop bags, and on the CN22 customs label (Which we are required to fill out) we write "Party supplies" and not balloons as the contents.
